Election Platform

I ran for city council because I wanted to help make our great city even better.  Below are a few ideas I discussed during the campaign. I will be reporting progress on these ideas annually.

Healthy Neighbourhoods

Walkable Sidewalks & Bike-able Streets – Identifying safety issues and continuing the creation of city bike lanes

Fresh Food First – Encouraging opportunities for sustainable developments including public gardens and curbside composting

Affordable Living

Housing First – Working with others to provide supportive housing to Fredericton’s residents, especially those facing challenges

Responsible Urban Development – Respecting our heritage while growing our residential and commercial tax base to reduce individual tax burden

Engaged Communities

Citizens in Decisions – Holding quarterly Community Conversations to determine the concerns of all Ward 10 residents

Over to YOUth – Engaging in conversations with young people in the ward to understand their perspectives and keep them involved
